How we screen
Tested on the work, reviewed by a person.
Every candidate we send has done a practical task made for the role and a short interview. A recruiter reads every score before you see a profile. Here is the whole method.
Overview
Four stages, in order
- 01 Test
A practical test made for the role
Media buyers diagnose a mock ad account. Creatives send their own work and take a timed brief. Store and growth people audit or build something real.
- 02 Interview
A 15-minute AI voice interview
Candidates are told it is an AI and agree first. They answer in English, Hindi or Hinglish, and can ask for a person instead.
- 03 Review
A person checks every score
Nothing reaches you without a recruiter reading the scores, the evidence and any flags. Flags are for review, never an automatic reject.
- 04 Identity
Camera on, then an ID check
Proxy interviews happen. The interview is camera on, and identity is matched to ID at the background check.
Practical test
A test made for each kind of role
Tests use realistic data, not trick questions.
Performance marketing
A mock ad account with 60 days of data. Find what broke, say what you would change first, and why.
What we check for performance marketingCreative
A short brief from a real category. Designers and editors send work; strategists write three angles with hooks.
What we check for creativeAI and automation
Producers make three AI ad variants from a product page in three hours. Automation people build a small working flow, such as new Shopify orders to drafted WhatsApp replies, and show where it breaks.
What we check for ai and automationE-commerce operations
A store audit: product pages, checkout, returns. List what costs the brand money and fix order.
What we check for e-commerce operationsGrowth and retention
A customer dataset. Build two segments and one flow, and say what you expect it to earn.
What we check for growth and retentionCreators and social
A brief from a real category. Shortlist ten creators with rates and reasons, then write the brief each creator would get.

Interview
The 15-minute AI voice interview
Candidates can answer in English, Hindi or Hinglish, and can ask for an interview with a person instead at any point. The camera is on throughout.
- 1 min
Introduction and consent
The candidate is told they are speaking to an AI, what is recorded and why, and agrees before anything starts.
- 4 min
Experience walk-through
What they actually did in their last roles, in their own words: accounts, budgets, briefs, stores.
- 6 min
A role scenario
A real problem from the job. For a media buyer: ROAS fell 30% yesterday, what do you check first?
- 3 min
Follow-up on their test
Why they made the calls they made in the practical test, and what they would do with more time.
- 1 min
Their questions
Time for the candidate to ask about the role and the process.
Human review
A person checks every score
No profile reaches a company until a recruiter has read the scores, the evidence behind them and any flags. The recruiter can change a score and notes why.
Integrity flags
Flags go to a person, never to a reject pile
Answers that sound read from a screen, unusual timing, or answers that contradict the resume are flagged for the recruiter to look at. Nobody is rejected automatically.
Identity
The person you hire is the person we tested
Proxy interviews happen in this market. Interviews are camera on, and identity is matched against ID at the background check before joining.
What we never score
- Accent or voice
- Emotion or facial expression
- Personality guessed from speech
- English, unless the job needs it, and then as a named score
The profile
What you receive for each candidate
- Rubric scores
- A score for each item the role needs, with the candidate's own words quoted as evidence.
- Claims checked
- What the resume says set against how they described the work. For example, a stated monthly spend against how they built the account.
- Notice period
- Including any buyout terms.
- Current and expected CTC
- Asked directly and written down.
- City and relocation
- Where they are and where they would move.
- Tools used
- Ads Manager, Shopify, Klaviyo, Figma, Premiere and the like, hands-on or not.
- Spend handled
- For media buyers: monthly spend they managed themselves.
- Portfolio links
- For creatives: work we have reviewed, with drafts or source files where we could get them.
- Questions for your interview
- Where their answers were thin, so your round goes deeper.
